Medical kits are recovery items that come in large, medium, and small sizes, with larger ones providing greater recovery. While they take time to use, the recovery duration once started is the same regardless of size.

A comparison of first aid kits. Each use consumes 25 durability points, meaning the small kit can be used 5 times, the medium 7 times, and the large 16 times. The large kit undoubtedly excels in most aspects. However, weighing 1.2kg, it may be a bit heavy to carry around during grinding sessions for gold farming.
How to obtain through exploration

First aid kits can be picked up from the above locations, regardless of size. Medical kits are generally quite common drops. Even if not medical kits, they may occasionally drop from boxes and similar containers.
They frequently drop at medical facilities marked on the map, such as the “Pharmacy” in Farm Town or the “Medical Room” in J-Lab, where they often drop directly. Enemies may also drop them.
How to Obtain a Small First Aid Kit

- Purchase: Mysterious merchant in Area Zero

Small First Aid Kits can generally be obtained through the four methods listed above. As you progress through quests, you’ll typically be able to purchase them from vending machines in Bankers, so we recommend advancing your quests first. Towards the endgame, opportunities to use Small First Aid Kits diminish due to their limited healing capacity.

Medicine Chest (Medium) is roughly the same as the Small one. As you progress through the quest, you’ll be able to purchase it from the Banker’s vending machine, so do advance. The Medium Medicine Chest remains useful even late in the game. The Large one is heavy, so you’ll often carry it around while gathering funds or exploring.
First Aid Kit Contents
- Area Zero’s “Road Camp”
The first-aid kit recipe can be found at the Road Camp where the Area Zero boss, Chibigamo, resides. Should you accidentally sell it, you can retrieve it from the same location.
How to Obtain a Large First Aid Kit

The Large First Aid Kit cannot be unlocked via recipes or vending machines. Therefore, if you wish to obtain one, your main options are exploration or purchasing it from the mysterious merchant in Area Zero. As the Large First Aid Kit is quite heavy, save it for crucial exploration moments or boss battles.
