Summary
This is Megabonk’s item tier list. Items will be rated in two categories: final strength and instant strength, as this depends on your play style and objectives.
About Toggler
Toggler: can be toggled ON or OFF to see if the item appears.
As the game progresses, you will be able to buy an item called a togler in the store. Buying this will prevent some items from appearing in the game. This is quite important in carefully selecting items and basically turning off items that can be turned off. This is because you can pull more and stronger items.
In casual play, you don’t have to worry about this, but the more difficult you play, such as in Tier 3 and aiming for rankings, the more important it becomes to turn togler on and off.
About Microwave Oven
Microwave:
Can increase certain items instead of sacrificing items of the same rarity
An item called a microwave oven can occur on the map. There are four types of microwaves (Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary), as well as the type of rarity of the item, and you can choose to multiply them.
Instead, you lose one item of the same rarity at random.
Common item
S Rating
Key: Chance to open a treasure chest for free +10
- has potential for the future
- Early microwave candidate
- Can be turned off with togler, but only ON encouraged
The number of keys you have will allow you to get treasure chests for free. Many of the items are powerful, and there are even some that can earn the damage of a single weapon or double your endurance. If you get to the later stages of the game, you can even open treasure chests all over the map.
A Rating
Wrench: altar charges faster and higher quality
- has potential for the future
- Candidate for early stage microwave
This one will charge the altar faster and increase the quality. What this means is that something with “10% damage” becomes something like “11% damage”. There are 45 altars in the third level, so if you acquire them in the first half of the game, it will make a lot of difference.
The more the game progresses, the less valuable they become.
Cheese: 40% chance of inflicting poison when attacked
- Active in early boss fights
- Microwave candidate for the earliest stages and casual play
It is active in the early stages of the game. Poisons are stacked on top of each other, so the speed of defeating the boss is much faster. However, they become less and less useful towards the end of the game, so you may want to vanish (erase) them after taking 2 or 3 of them.
Gym source: Damage +10%.
- Simple
- Endgame microwave candidate
It is simple and strong. If you find microwaves for common items later in the game, you can multiply them.
Time bracelet: 8% increase in experience
- has potential for the future
- Candidate for early stage microwave
The experience will increase.
Boss Buster: +15% additional damage to elites and bosses
- Strong against bosses and elites
- Can be turned off as it can be turned off with a togler
- Late microwave candidate
This item increases damage to elites and bosses. The increase is 15%, which is subtle and hard to get rid of, but it can be turned off with Toggler, so I turn it off. I think it is a very strong item for casual play. It is especially good that it increases damage to elites as well.
B Rating
Clover: luck increased by 7.5%.
- Unobtrusive and active
Luck increases. Luck is a modest asset because it increases the quality of leveling up and obtaining items.
Golden Globe: +15% additional gold when defeating enemies
- Unobtrusive and active
It is a modest gold earner. It is good to have, but it does not stand out.
C Rating
Oats: Maximum HP increased by 25
It is a modest activity, but it is modest. The evaluation is that it is not worth bothering to vanish.
Togler OFF Encouragement
In casual play, it can be ON, but basically it is an item that should not appear.
Turbo socks: +15% movement speed
It is good that it speeds up your legs, but if it speeds up too much, you will have an accident, so basically, I encourage you to turn it off. If you play casually, it is a good item because it can speed up your legs in the early stages.
Tactical Glass: +20% additional damage to enemies with 90% or more HP
It makes it easier to one-pan the mooks. Other items can also one-punch the boss, but you don’t need to bother turning this item on.
Battery: attack speed +8
It is a strong sober effect, but I think it is basically fine to turn it OFF. In casual play, it is fine to turn it ON.
Forbidden juice: Critical chance +10%.
This one is also very plain and strong. Basically, it can be OFF, but there is a possibility that it is ON when doing throwable or projectile type builds. Many throws and projectiles do not increase critical.
Cursed doll: 30% of max HP damage per second
It is an item that does a modest amount of damage at the beginning of the game, but I think it should be OFF. The maximum HP means your maximum HP. If you have 100 HP at the beginning of the game, you will get 30 damage. It is quite strong because the attack power in the beginning of the game is 10 or so. However, in the later stages of the game, it becomes airtight.
If there is a build that increases HP, it might be useful.
Ice Crystal: 7.5% to freeze the enemy
I have not seen it in action so far in the game because there are enemies with debuff resistance, such as freezing, etc. It can be turned off, so basically it is off. Even in casual play, I think it is basically unnecessary to use it.
Scaleg: difficulty +7%.
The difficulty level can be increased. Difficulty increases the number and strength of enemies, so it is an important status when aiming for rankings. However, I have the impression that it is not worthwhile to turn it ON in Toggler. For casual play, I would rather encourage turning it OFF.
Ghost: Summons ghosts when interacted with
Interact represents an action such as breaking a jar. Ghosts will drift around you and attack your enemies. However, it is basically OFF-encouraged because it only occurs when you interact with it and has no effect when you do nothing.
Cactus: spikes fired when damaged Damage is proportional to spikes
- Use only when building spike systems.
It fires spikes to inflict damage when damaged. This build is special and is basically OFF encouraged. For casual play, OFF is encouraged as an afterthought.
It is a core item when building spike-based builds. The liberation requirement (killing 100 cacti with spike damage in the desert) is probably the most annoying in the game. Play in the desert frequently.
candidate for vanish
You can exclude an item from appearing again only a few times during the game.
Burger: +2% chance of burgers appearing when enemies are defeated
If you pick it up, it will recover a little HP. Basically, if you see one, turn it off.
Medikit: HP regen increased by +45
Even if you do nothing, HP will be recovered every second. However, HP recovery is basically done by the “Absorption: heal yourself when you attack the enemy” so it can be an option to vanish.
Rare item
S Rating
Credit card red: +2.5% more damage when opening treasure chests
- has potential for the future
- Candidate for early stage microwave
The damage increases with the number of treasure chests opened. Treasure chests are also dropped directly by enemies, so the damage increases considerably. There are items of higher rarity that increase by 100% when the conditions are met, but this item exceeds 100% with 40 treasure chests.
The value is higher in the early stages of the game and decreases in the later stages.
Backpack: +1 ammo for all weapons
- strong early stage
- early stage microwave candidate
More bullets. The number of bullets is especially important in the early stages of the game, and if you can pick this up, the battle will be much easier. There is no need to duplicate it in the later stages of the game, as the effect wears off later in the game.
Echo Shard: +12% chance of additional experience when defeating enemies
- has potential for the future
- early stage microwave candidate
- togler ON encouragement
Experience increases. Experience is important outside of casual play because it does not always decay. If you are in the early to mid stages of the game, you are also a candidate to increase it in the microwave. You can turn it off with togler, but basically I think it is better to turn it on.
Idle juice: Increased damage when standing still Maximum 100% damage
- Strong in the last swarm
- Strong in aiming for ranking
- Candidate for endgame microwave
It will work in the last swarm. It has a large upside and is 100%. It cannot be used during basic map exploration, but it is useful in the last swarm. If you are aiming for ranking, it is strong because it hunts enemies with a basic stick.
Bosses cannot use it because they will aim at the player and attack at long range.
A Rating
Unstable blood transfusion: +27% chance of blood mark on attack
- Active in the early stages of the game
It grants a debuff called Bloodmark, which is similar to poison. This is a very modest benefit both in the early and late stages of the game.
Golden Shield: Gold obtained when damaged
- Good with Kevin
- Microwave candidate depending on conditions
This item is not very useful on its own. The next item, Kevin, is excellent because it constantly generates gold.
Kevin: Kevin attacks you when you attack him.
- Good with Golden Shield.
- Self-destructive if you don’t heap on damage absorption
- OFF in casual play
- Microwave candidate depending on conditions
When you have Kevin, attacking an enemy causes self-inflicted damage. This damage is a condition for activating an item called “When Damaged”, which activates the Golden Shield, among other things, which gives you access to gold at all times.
If you take this item early in the game, the self-inflicted damage will reduce your HP to 1.
Beacon: When charged, the altar becomes a recovery zone. Altar of the next stage + 2 places
- Early stage microwave candidate
- Good with wrenches
The number of altars will increase. The altars are basically strong because they increase your status. However, it is difficult to visit all the altars, so please consult with your own foot speed.
The number of altars is 15 per stage, so there are a total of 45 altars in the three stages.
B Rating
Thunder Mitt: electrical attack when striking an enemy; recharges in 10 seconds
It stuns the enemy. The reload is slow (10 seconds), so it cannot be overloaded.
Beer: +20% more damage. Max HP reduced by 5
- Microwave Oven Candidate
It is quite strong as it increases damage by 20%. The disadvantage is also not too big with a maximum HP of 5%, so it is one of the candidates to be increased by microwaves.
C Rating
Wings: Jump higher and farther
- active in the early stages of the game
- active on map forest
- be careful not to raise too much
It is useful in the beginning when climbing high ground because of its low jumping ability. If you raise it too much, it will become excessive, so you can vanish it after getting a few pieces.
Electric plug: Electric attack on nearby enemies when damaged
- Works well with Kevin.
If Kevin can generate self-inflicted damage, he will be able to attack enemies at close range with electricity. The range is narrow, so we can’t be overconfident.
Cloak of the Hater: Movement speed is increased. Additional +5% when attacked by enemies.
- Sober and active
- Be careful not to raise too much
This is an effect that is useful in a modest way. However, if the speed is increased too much, it will float over a slight bump, so it is OK to vanish at some point.
Phantom Shroud: 2x attack after evasion, temporarily increased attack speed and movement speed
- Avoidance Trigger
The effect is triggered by evasion. Since there are almost no characters or items that work well with evasion, I don’t see many situations where it is active. I have the impression that it is not worth bothering to vanish.
*Character: Ninja is compatible with evasion.
Togler OFF Encouragement
Knuckle Duster: +20% more damage to nearby enemies
The +20% damage is attractive, but the conditions are a bit harsh, so it is basically OFF encouragement with toglers.
Devil’s blade: +25% chance to recover strength with a critical hit
In casual play, it is fine to have it ON, but basically, the damage absorption status compensates for the recovery, so we encourage it to be OFF. It may be turned on for vampire builds.
Demon’s Blood: +0.5 max HP per kill (max 200 stacks)
Each enemy kill will increase your max HP. 200 kills will increase your max HP by 100. It may be useful in builds with a lot of max HP, but basically it can be turned off.
Moldy Mildew Glove: poisonous fog is generated when hitting an enemy
It inflicts poison on the enemy. Poison is basically a cheese problem, so I don’t think it is necessary to turn this item ON. If you use a poison-based build, there is a possibility that you will turn it on.
Golden Sneakers: Gold available when moving
- Not compatible with idle juice.
Gold is available when it is moving. It is basically OFF encouraged because it is incompatible with idle juice.
Vampire crystal: max HP increased by 50%, regen amount -50
It is basically OFF-encouraged because there are no situations where the advantages and disadvantages can be utilized much.
Epic item
S Rating
Mukimuki Ring: Damage +20% for every 100 max HP
- Active from the beginning to the end of the game
- Microwave Oven Candidate
If the maximum HP is 100, the damage will be +20%. It is easy to use as many characters are activated at the beginning of the game. Note that certain characters may have a maximum HP of around 50.
As the level increases, the HP increases (thousands), which makes them much stronger in the later stages of aiming for ranking.
Credit card green: +2% luck for each treasure chest opened
- Good alternative to rack tomes.
- Early to mid-stage microwave candidate
Each time you open a treasure chest, your luck will increase. This item is valuable because luck is an important status when building a strong build. Even if you remove the rack tome, you can still earn a good amount of racks with this item.
*If you remove the rack tome, you want to turn off the epic system as much as possible to increase the appearance of this item.
Grandma’s Secret Tonic:
50% chance of a critical hit and 50% damage to surrounding enemies.
- Increased eradication in the early stages of the project
- Early stage microwave candidate
This item requires a certain amount of criticality to activate, but it is especially useful in the early stages of the game. It is like having one more weapon, and it eliminates nearby enemies. The damage is also higher.
It can be turned off with Toggler, but I personally encourage turning it on since it has high annihilation power among epic items.
Curse gravy: difficulty +10%, max HP 0.8x, 5% chance on enemy hit, curse magic
- For ranking purposes
- OFF for casual play
- Microwave candidate
This is a valuable item that can increase difficulty. Curse magic also has a modest damage. There are some disadvantages, but if you are aiming for ranking, ON is encouraged.
I think there is no problem with turning it off for Tier 3 strategies and casual play.
A Rating
Mirror: Reflects damage received and gains invincibility for a short time
- It’s an insurance policy against one-panning.
There is a certain probability that you will become invincible when you are hit by a bullet. It seems that there is also damage reflection, but basically invincibility is important. It is a good item to have.
Devil’s soul: Increased damage per kill (up to 100%)
- Increased damage
- Toggler OFF is acceptable
It is difficult to understand the explanation in the game, but the damage increases with each enemy kill. The increase is also large, at 100%. It is a strong item, but it is turned off because it is important to have a higher tier item when aiming for rankings.
B Rating
Shield with spikes: +2 spikes for every 1% armor. 10% armor.
- Important items for spike builds
- A good item to have
This is an important item when using spike builds. It kills two birds with one stone as it increases armor and increases spikes.
In other builds, the +10% increase in armor is a modest effect and reduces damage when you are hit. The +10% is easily reflected in builds that don’t increase armor.
*Armor, like the saturation curve, the reduction rate decreases progressively as the amount of armor increases. The reduction rate is higher when +10% is applied from 0% armor and the increase in reduction rate is lower when +10% is applied from 50% armor.
Slurp Glove:
Attack an enemy to activate blood magic. Damage and +7.5% recovery to the surrounding area. Cool time 9 seconds.
- Has a recovery effect
It can heal with blood magic. It is very useful, but not that powerful due to its long cool time.
C Rating
Scarf: 33% more damage in the air
- Active on the road
- Incompatible with idle juice
- Candidate for vanish
This item is useful on the road. Boss battles during the Enemy Rush are sometimes fought while jumping, which leads to increased damage.
However, this item is not compatible with the rare item “Idol Juice,” and this item is a candidate for vanish because the increase in attack of Idol Juice is much higher. (Idle Juice must stand its ground.)
Togler OFF Encouragement
Rollerblade: attack speed increases the more it moves, up to 40% per stack
Loose Cannon: 20% chance to fire missiles when an enemy is killed
Missing Knowledge: XP shard cuts through enemies and damages them
OFF encouraged because of uneven activation.
Quinn’s Mask: 50% chance of exploding with spike damage, damaging surrounding enemies
- Might work well in a spike build.
Basically, it can be turned off, but may be active in a spike build.
Poison Barrel: Poison nearby enemies when damaged
- Works well with Kevin.
- Works well with poison builds
Basically, it can be turned off, but I think it will work well in a poison build. It also works well with Kevin’s self-inflicted damage.
Gas mask: armor and overheal gain for each poisoned enemy
- Works well with poison builds
- Works well with other poison items
In normal play, it is not needed as it does not contain much poison. It is useful in poison builds to increase durability.
Gamer goggles: damage increases with lower HP
- Works well with Kevin.
- Hard to use
It works well with Kevin, who does self-inflicted damage. However, it is difficult to activate it stably otherwise. It is more accidental than anything else.
Eagle Claw: +66% damage to airborne enemies; launches enemies at 8%.
It can deal additional damage to airborne enemies. It is also an interesting item because it can launch enemies with a certain probability. However, it is not so subtle as to win enough to turn it on.
Bob: Summons Bob for every 14 units moved
- Not compatible with idle juice.
Each move generates a ghost that attacks the enemy. It may be a modest activity, but the fact that it is triggered by movement is subtle and does not work well with idle juice.
Candidate for vanish
Many epic items can be turned off, so there are few candidates for vanish. My personal opinion would be only scarves.
Legendary item
S Rating
Ramp: +1 effect generated on hit
- Works well with items and weapons with hit effects
- Candidate for microwave oven
It gives you +1 effect on hit. This seems to be strong as it seems to ride on all items and weapons. I have not verified this in detail, but according to the information I have gathered, it seems to affect blood marks, poison, electric shocks, and critical hits.
The effect on hits increases the longer the game goes on, so the later the game goes on, the more active it should be. I think it is strong when you consider that poison and criticals are drawn twice even in the early stages of the game.

The Overpowered Lamp increases proc chances for any chance-based effect in MegaBonk. Effects like poison, lightning, and critical hits fire more often. The more proc sources you have, the better the Lamp scales.
The World: stop time when fatally wounded. Only once.
- The best insurance item
- Late Microwave Oven Candidate
This item is activated when you are one-punched. This item is like an extra life and prevents one unexpected playing mistake.
If you are aiming for a ranking, this item can also be a way to increase your score since it extends the time you have. (Because powerful ghosts appear after 12 minutes of the last swarm)
Suction magnet: regularly attracts experience from the surrounding area
- I’d like one under any circumstances.
This item will help you explore the map. It also prevents you from losing experience and moving on to the next stage. It is also a good item to have because it collects experience even in the last swarm when you cannot move a single step.
There is no need to increase it by microwaving, as one is enough.
Anvil: +1 status for weapon upgrades
- Most important items
- Important items that change the final strength of the product
- Microwave Oven Candidate
With normal upgrades, the maximum is two statuses, such as “number of bullets, damage,” but this increases when you get an anvil. Specifically, it will be like “number of bullets, damage, bullet speed”. As you increase the anvil, the maximum of three will increase to four.
When aiming for rankings, the number of these items and the speed at which they are obtained will determine the final strength of the weapon. This is because the maximum level of weapons is as low as 40.
Soul harvester: summons two tracking souls when an enemy is defeated
- Greatly active in destroying enemies such as rushes
- Strong in aiming for ranking
This item is useful for surviving the Enemy Rush. As you kill enemies, your tracking souls will increase in a mouse-like manner, making it easier to get through the Enemy Rush even if your weapons are weak.
In normal play, this item may not be necessary, but in situations where you are taking a growth tome or increasing the difficulty level, the item is quite important as it will help you get through the weapon +1.
A Rating
Big Bonk: 2% chance of BONK activation. 20x damage.
- Damage is considerably extended.
The probability of activation is low at 2%, but it will cause a BONK that generates 20x damage. It is useful for bosses and elites.
Chonk Plate:
Overheal by only 75% when recovery exceeds max HP. Also gains 20% life absorption.
- Significantly increased durability
This item gives you +20% absorption and a large amount of overheal. It increases your durability considerably and makes you less likely to die from even the slightest mistake.
Joe’s Dagger: 1% to execute an enemy, damage increased by 1% on successful execution.
- Scale
- Microwave Oven Candidate
All attacks will cause an execution (one-punch) at the establishment. This does not trigger on bosses, but does occur on elites. The increased damage is also quite effective and is one of the candidates to increase in the microwave.
Bloody Cleaver:
Blood Mark granted with life absorption. In addition, 50% chance of Blood Mark is given.
Life Absorption will now grant Blood Mark. Life absorption is a necessary status for basically any build, so it is rarely corrupt.
B Rating
Dragon Fire: Dragon Fire activates at 15% when attacked, plus combustion
- Additional damage is effective in eliminating enemies
- Also consider togler off
When it attacks an enemy, it creates a red circle at the enemy’s feet, inflicting damage and burning on the target. It is effective in destroying enemies and generates additional damage like the Soul Harvester.
Personally, I think the Soul Harvester is stronger, so you should consider turning this item off.
Sacred Book: Max HP +100, Regen +50, Recovery damages nearby enemies.
- Greatly increases max HP and regen
- Great use in bloodsucking builds
- Also consider togler off
In casual play, this increase in durability is significant and quite useful in the early stages. It is an important item when building a bloodsucking build, as bloodsucking leads to damage, which makes sense for excessive recovery that is not inherently meaningful.
However, it is an item that can be turned off with Toggler, so you should consider turning it off as well.
C Rating
Lightning Orb: 25% chance to summon a lightning strike, stunning the enemy
- Stan plays an active role in boss battles
- OFF consideration in togler
It generates an orb that stuns the enemy. The stun is effective against bosses and elites, so it is useful for tier 3 attacks.
However, it is an item that can be turned off with Toggler, so it is basically encouraged to turn it off. Some monsters are resistant to debuffs, so you cannot be overconfident.
Spicy Meatball: 25% chance of attack exploding, 65% damage to surrounding enemies
The attack will explode. It is a modest way to earn damage, and since it is a ranged damage, it can help destroy enemies in group battles.
Ice Cube: Ice damage and freezing when attacking enemies
- Critical damage doubled
- Candidate for Vanish
Critical damage is doubled. Overcriticals (which occur when the critical rate exceeds 100%) are also doubled. The probability is not written, so it is difficult to evaluate. The probability of a mega-critical occurring increases as the number of forks increases.
I have seen various people play and some of them are vanishing.
Power Glove: 8% chance of large explosion on enemy hit, damaging and blowing up
- Blowout and additional damage
- Candidate for vanish
Additional damage and blowing up occurs.
Energy core: fires energy orbs at the target
- Feels like one more weapon
- Consider togler off as well
It fires energy orbs at all times. It is like having 5 weapons. Personally, I consider the Soul Harvester to be the pinnacle of this type of item, so I would consider turning this item off.
Togler OFF Encouragement
Speed Boy: Time slows down below 50% HP. Furthermore, damage is doubled.
- Insurance item
- Can be activated many times
- Active in Tier 3 strategy
- If you are aiming for ranking, togler OFF is recommended
This item is activated when you take heavy damage, such as in The World. However, it is not invincible. If you are not careful, you will die.
This item can be activated many times. There may be a cool time, but it will recover HP and will be activated when HP falls below 50% again.
This item is OFF encouraged if you are aiming for ranking. The reason is that even though time is slowed down, the passage of time is the same as normal. Enemies will repop and move slower, but the passage of time is the same as normal, so it simply makes it harder to increase your score.
Of course, it is strong in tier 3 attacks, for example, because it is strong enough to be triggered many times.
Candidate for vanish
Legendary items are all strong, so you don’t need to worry about them in normal play. However, if you are aiming for rankings only, you will vanish even if you are a Legendary in order to get more top priority items such as “Anvil” and “The World”.
This kind of choice is especially created because the number of anvils can greatly change the strength of a weapon.
Toggler and vanishing concept
Vanish can be used on weapons and tomes, but it should be used on items.
The reason is that weapons and tomes will stop appearing once the four slots are filled. The value of the vanish is high for items.
For casual play
For toglers, turn on any item you like. For vanish, it is enough to do only weak items such as burgers.
For the Tier 3 strategy
Basically, toggle off any character you are planning to use or anything that is incompatible with the weapon. Vanish can also be done only with weak items such as burgers.
For ranking purposes
For ranking purposes, toglers must be strictly considered. Basically, turn off everything that can be turned off in the togler before thinking about it. Turn ON only those that are necessary and those that are absolutely strong.
Vanish is an option, even if it is epic or legendary. If you are aiming for ranking, you can play like picking up treasure chests on all the maps (usually possible after the second level), so that you have stronger items.
