Summary

This article is about quantitotomes, i.e., the number of bullets. We know that there are many players who like quantitative tomes. However, this tome is a tome that becomes less and less powerful after a certain level.

In this article, I will explain this point.

What is a Quantitative Tome?

Quantitative Tome: more attacks and bullets.

Quantitative Tome can increase the status of the number of bullets. As the name suggests, it increases the number of bullets and the number of attacks.

  • Sword: Increases the number of swords swung at one time.
  • Revolver: Increases the number of bullets fired at one time.
  • Aura: Nothing changes.

There are some weapons, such as auras, that do not benefit from quantities.
Cool down and size tomes exist that are easily compared to quantities

Conclusion

  • Early game: Number of bullets > cool time = size
  • Midgame: Number of bullets = cool time = size
  • Endgame: Number of bullets<cool time=size

I will begin with a brief conclusion. Quantitative tomes are quite useful in the early stages of the game. Cooldowns and size tomes are not very strong at the beginning of the game, but they become stronger in the later stages.

This is not something that you need to be aware of when you are trying to compete in Tier 3. It is only a point to be aware of when you are challenging for higher ranking.

Quantitative growth rate

Number of roundsRelative thermal power (%)Growth rate (%)
1100%
2200%+100%
3300%+50%
4400%+33.3%
5500%+25%
6600%+20%
7700%+16.7%
8800%+14.3%
9900%+12.5%
101000%+11.1%
111100%+10%

The growth rate of the number of bullets is highest when the number of bullets increases from one to two, and it decreases progressively with each level. To briefly explain, when the number of bullets increases from 1 to 2, you will feel +100% growth, but when the number of bullets changes from 10 to 11, the growth rate decreases to +10%, one tenth of the growth rate.

In the case of Tier 3, the level of the tome is about 10 to 20, so it is not that much of an impact. Therefore, if your goal is to capture Tier 3, Quantiti Tome is one of the best options.

However, if you are aiming for ranking, the level of the tome is usually 99, and quantitative tome is not an option because its growth is sluggish at level 10 or so.

Comparison graph of number of bullets and attack speed

The following graph shows the DPS of the cooldown dome and the DPS of the number of bullets. The orange curve is the bullet count curve and the blue line is the cooldown curve. This assumes that the number of bullets increases by 1 at one level of the quantiti tome and that the attack speed increases by 7.5% at one level of the cooldown tome.

With this assumption, the cooldown overtakes the quanti tomes at level 50. After that, the cooldown is overwhelmingly superior.

Furthermore, this is a graph for the case where each time the quality of reinforcement is reinforced at the lowest level. In other words, since we will repeatedly strengthen at a higher quality (e.g., 2 more bullets per level), cooldown will actually overtake quantities at a much earlier level.

However, as you can see, at levels 10 to 20, quantities are overwhelmingly in favor of quantities. To repeat the conclusion, if you are aiming for ranking, cooldown has an overwhelming advantage, and if you are aiming for Tier 3 or lower, quanti has an overwhelming advantage.

Comparison with size tome

Comparisons with size tomes are easy to make, and here, as with cooldowns, quantities are overwhelmingly superior in casual play, and turn over when aiming for rankings. The reason is simple: no matter how many bullets you have, if the number of enemies overtakes it, some enemies will not be hit.

In a battle of higher difficulty, the number of enemies will increase overwhelmingly, and quantities will not be able to handle them all.

To give a simple example, an aura with increased size can hit any number of enemies. However, a revolver with an increased number of bullets will hit only as many enemies as the maximum number of bullets. The difficulty level can exceed 1000% or more. The number of enemies will also increase proportionally, and elite ghosts that cannot be one-punched will appear. In such a situation, there is a limit to the number of bullets build with a limited number of enemies to hit.

Ending

Quantities are not weak. It boasts absolute strength under the right circumstances. However, its absolute strength is due to its bullet count, and it also has its weaknesses.
I have written this article in the hope of explaining the need to consider other options if you are looking for a more difficult challenge. I hope you find it helpful.
