I will write about what a beginner should learn in the climbing game PEAK.
In this game, you can pick up various items while climbing. There are also colorful fruits and mushrooms growing in trees, grass, and behind rocks. Items can bring you out of a desperate situation, and unseen fruits can restore your stomach and stamina. Some fruits can even hunt you down.
This article will be as spoiler-free as possible and will focus on the bare minimum you should remember.
Let’s have backpacks.
A bag pack is dropped at each checkpoint. Backpacks increase the amount of items you can carry, allowing you to carry lots of food and tools.
Food will help you recover your stamina, and climbing tools will be useful on precipices and cliffs that you cannot climb with your normal strength. There are also items that can help you recover when poison is transferred from something you are not supposed to touch or when you are injured.
Put a certain item in the backpack
The more stuff you put in your backpack, the heavier it gets. The heavier it gets, the less stamina limit you have, which makes it harder to climb tough quays.
It is effective to put certain items in your backpack, which will give you an advantage at all times. Now what is that item? A hint: it is an item that may lighten the weight of a heavy backpack.
It is a good idea to put balloons in the backpack.
The balloons will help alleviate the weight of the backpack, and just having balloons in the backpack will alleviate the decrease in the maximum stamina limit.
The balloons will run out in time once they are used. The balloons should only be in the backpack.
Bake what you can eat and recover.
Fruits and mushrooms can be roasted before eating to give you an additional stamina gauge. This additional stamina gauge is used up but can be used to climb walls. So the additional stamina gauge allows you to climb higher walls.
Interestingly, it is not limited to food.
First aid kits, bandages, and elixirs can also ride this effect. So basically anything to treat an injury or restore stamina can be baked.
Climbing tools do not burn
Note that climbing tools such as pitons and rope cannons are unusable if burned. You may be able to tell by their appearance, but do not burn obvious artifacts.
The only items that should be burned are food items, medicines such as bandages and first aid kits, and then magic lanterns.
Find a route that is easy to climb.
When climbing a mountain, it is important to choose the right route.
There is more than one way to the summit, as there is in normal mountaineering. So, when you look up at the mountain, determine which route seems easier.
Some of the ivy and suspension bridges on the mountain can be seen from the foot of the mountain. We may consider making use of them.
Turn back for tougher routes.
If you reach a place that is difficult to climb, turn back.
If you continue to push hard, you will fall, your strength will be depleted, and you will become increasingly weak.
If you turn around and follow a different route, you can pick up new items or food to recover. It is not always a matter of climbing the cliff in front of you.

It is multiplayer only, but you should not abandon your friends.
In this game, there are items that can be used to help your friends, such as ropes. The rope can be hung down after you climb a cliff and can help your friends even if they are injured and do not have much stamina. You can also use your hands to lift your companions.
Another advantage is that you can carry more tools and food with your companions.
Rule 0: Never abandon a friend in need!
