Overview

This article covers how to obtain SLI graphics cards for use in the “Bitcoin Farm,” one of the automatic money-making methods in the latter stages of the game, as well as how to obtain regular graphics cards. Graphics cards are items that can fetch a decent price when sold outright, so this information should also be useful for those who need dollars right now.

What is Graphics cards SLI?

Graphics Card SLI
A configuration combining three graphics cards in an advanced manner. Overall performance is slightly reduced, but it fits into a single mining slot.

Graphics card SLI is a higher-tier version of standard graphics cards that utilizes three graphics cards as components. While a standard graphics card has an output of 1, a graphics card SLI setup has an output of 1.5. The output of a graphics card refers to the efficiency of a Bitcoin farm facility; a higher output allows you to obtain Bitcoin faster.

The phrase “overall output decreases” means that using three graphics cards with an output of 1 each only results in an output of 1.5. Basically, players who have equipment capable of running J-Lab loops should feel free to actively upgrade to Graphics Card SLI.

How to Obtain Graphics Card SLI Design Schematics

  • J-Lab ID Card Purple Room

The SLI graphics card blueprint can be obtained in the room accessible with the “Purple ID Card” on the second basement floor of J-Lab. It can be retrieved from the dedicated box containing the blueprint.

You can access J-Lab by progressing through the Farm Town quests, and entering J-Lab requires a “J-Lab Level 1 Access Pass.” While there are several ways to obtain this pass, using the mysterious merchant in Farm Town is probably the easiest method.

Graphics Card SLI Setup Guide

  • Graphics Card 3
  • All-Purpose Adhesive A 2
  • All-Purpose Adhesive B 2

The recipes for SLI graphics cards are the three listed above. You’ll also need quite a few universal adhesives, so be sure to stock up whenever you find them during exploration.

How to Obtain a Graphics Card

  • Search “Console”
  • Search “Hidden Locations”
  • J-Lab and Farm Town Rounds
  • Also watch for direct drops

The primary methods for obtaining graphics cards, the main component for SLI setups, are the four types listed above. They are relatively easy to find in “consoles” commonly found in facilities housing PCs. J-Lab and Farm Town have a large number of consoles, making them even easier to find. They are also often just lying on the ground, so be sure to keep an eye on the ground while exploring.

You’ll likely use earthworms to obtain them, but they also drop—though rarely—from “hidden spots” you can dig up with a shovel.

How to Obtain the Purple J-Lab ID Card

  1. Purchased from the mysterious merchant in Farm Town
  2. J-Lab Loop
  3. Farm Town’s XO Key Room
  4. (Farm Town Exploration)

The purple J-Lab ID card can be obtained from the four sources listed above. I acquired most of my keys from option 2, “J-Lab Exploration,” and the “XO Key Room.” It seems they can also drop during general exploration in Farm Town, though I haven’t personally confirmed this. There’s also information suggesting the “Facility Director” north of the “Hidden Mining Facility” in southeast Farm Town has a high drop rate.

For details on J-Lab circuits and XO key rooms, see the article below. There are six types of ID cards: yellow, red, green, blue, black, and purple. Each room contains valuable blueprints, making them worth collecting even beyond obtaining graphics card SLI.
