Summary
This is a description of how to obtain the Megabonk item, the “holy book”.
This item is a nice item that is useful in vampire builds, and if you like those builds, you should get it. Right now, some people are on the rankings with this build, although it is not the strongest.
What is the Holy Book?
Holy Book: HP and regen are increased, and recovery damages nearby enemies.
This item has a blood-sucking effect that allows you to absorb HP and at the same time inflict damage on enemies. This item is a key item for a blood-sucking build and is essential if you want to achieve a ranking.
Acquisition Conditions
Condition for releasing the holy book: Defeat the first boss without taking any damage.
The condition for obtaining it is to defeat the boss of the first layer without taking any damage. As the term “not taking any damage” implies, taking damage with a shield is also not acceptable.
Therefore, it is recommended that you use the challenge “Brittle” in conjunction with the challenge “Failure” so that you can restart as soon as you take damage.
The challenge “brittle” has almost the same conditions as the holy book and fails as soon as you take damage.
Failure Conditions
- All hit
If it is damaged, it will fail. Failure will occur even if the shield is used to catch the damage.
What happens if it is evaded and what happens to the fall damage is untested.
Clear data

I went with Tony McZoo, a character that is easy to use. Tony is fast from the start and is recommended for short challenges like this.
He also has an easy-to-use weapon, a wireless dagger, from the start.
Recommended Weapons
Wireless Dagger: Throw smart daggers at your enemies! The latest wireless technology explodes!
Thunderbolt wand: summons lightning to attack nearby enemies
Revolver: fires multiple bullets at the enemy
Long-range weapons of the ricocheting type are recommended.
Close range weapons such as aura are not recommended because you must not be hit by bullets.
Recommendation tome
Quantitati Tome: more attacks and bullets.
Cool down Tome: Increased attack frequency
Precision Tome: increased critical rate
For tomes, quantities are recommended. Since it uses a basic long-range weapon, it should be able to handle group fights with a higher ammunition count.
Quanti is not a strong tome, but it offers unparalleled stability in casual runs without increasing difficulty.
Another good choice is a precision tome that increases cooldown and criticality. Basically, any tome that can make you instantly stronger is a good choice.
Recommended Characters
- Characters with long-range weapons from the start
- A character who is fast on his feet
Basically, we recommend that you start out with a character that is fast and has a long-range weapon that is easy to use. If you have a particular preference, you can use any character you like that is easy to use.
Characters not recommended
- Light characters
- Slow-footed character
We do not recommend using characters that fall slowly (fluffy jump type) when floating in the air, such as Blood or Spaceman. These types of characters with light weight or weak gravity tend to get stuck if an enemy attack is placed in their falling position.
As mentioned earlier, slow-footed characters are also not recommended as they are prone to being hit.
What to watch out for
- No fighting by the wall
- No increase in difficulty or bosses
Be careful not to fight near a wall. If you fight near a wall, you will have no escape route, and enemies may swing at you from above the wall. Therefore, try to fight on level ground with good visibility as much as possible.
Do not touch the bloody statues, which increase the number of bosses, or the skeletal statues, which increase the strength and number of enemies.
