Summary

Self-inflicted robinettes now fill the global rankings. I had done a trial run of this configuration before it became popular, and this is an updated version of that article.

This configuration will probably be nerfed. However, I think it will remain as a concept unless a fundamental revision or other change comes along, so I’d like to write this article just in case.

Character

Robinette: damage increases with the amount of gold possessed.

Robinette is a bow user. She increases her damage with the gold she possesses. There is a combination of items that will always have this effect.

Condition Item

Kevin: Every time you attack, Kevin attacks you

Golden Shield: Get gold every time you take damage.

By combining these two items, you can always take damage and get gold. Damage is usually painful at the beginning of the game or so, so if your “absorption” status is not extended to some extent, you will get hit by self-inflicted wounds.

The score growth is quite different depending on whether you have these items or not.

Kevin’s release conditions

  • Level 8 Regeneration Book > Releasing the Vampire Crystal
  • Obtain 3 vampire crystals

Kevin has to get 3 “vampire crystals” in the same run, which are released by leveling up the Book of Regeneration. It is quite a hassle and a lot of luck is involved.

Although luck is involved, I think it is a good idea to duplicate the blood-sucking crystal in a microwave oven for rare items.

I want to pull items that can be substituted for weapons.

Soul harvester: Killing an enemy generates a tracking bullet.

If you are aiming for ranking, you want an item that generates damage, like a soul harvester. The reason is that tome tends to be short on damage because it takes only growth-type items.

There are other items that generate damage. Higher rarity items such as Legendary have higher damage.

Essential tome

Golden dome: more gold gained

Increase the amount of gold dropped from enemies. Getting drops allows you to open more treasure chests and furthermore, the amount of gold increases the damage, which is a scaling factor.

Only the character “Robinette” can increase damage with gold.

XP Tome: more XP from all sources

It is essential to maximize the level of all weapons and tomes. Will there ever be a time to pull out these tomes?

Cursed Tome: Increased difficulty.

The cursed tome increases the number and strength of enemies. The important thing is that the number of enemies increases, allowing you to score more and also increase the amount of experience you gain, making you stronger.
However, as the name suggests, the difficulty level jumps up, so it is probably only for core players who can repeat the process after many failed attempts.

These three tomes are essential if you want to do self-inflicted robinettes. The reasons why they are essential are as stated above.

PS: Chaos Tome run (top 0.1%)

*Right image: Status at 12 minutes of the last swarm

I’m sharing this with you because I had good results with a run that employed Kaostorm. Thanks to it, the difficulty level went up to 850% and the score went up considerably. With moderate size and increased damage, including critical damage and critical rate, I was able to withstand the red ghost, which is new in the app, for about 2.5 minutes.
The red ghost appeared at 12 minutes of the last swarm and killed me instantly in my previous playthrough.

We employed all weapons that scale in damage to the red ghost because of its resistance to instant death and knockback. However, the Dexecutioner’s instant death was moderately triggered and it was active on the road, so I feel it is still active.

The Last Tome

Lucky Tomes: easier to find high quality options at level up and at the shrine.

First is the lucky dome. This item increases luck. Luck increases the rarity of the enhancements when leveling up (the higher the rarity, the greater the increase), the quality of the item, and the quality of the moai statues and items offered by merchants.

Weapons and tomes have a fixed level limit, so you have to repeat high quality enhancements to become stronger.

In previous patches, lucky tomes were said to be an essential level, but they are increasingly being replaced by “credit card green,” where racks are raised by the number of treasure chests opened, or by “strengthening at altars.

From what I have seen of the clearing results of various people, it seems that many of them pull out the lucky tome.

Chaos Tome: Random status increases

As the name suggests, this tome has a high luck factor. The good thing about this tome is that the difficulty can be increased. Also, the good thing is that luck, size, and number of bullets can be increased all the time.

On the other hand, of course, it is not only a good point because it also raises unnecessary status. As the name suggests, it is chaotic.

Cool down dome: Increased attack frequency

It is a cool down dome, one of the stronger tomes. It increases the frequency of attacks, making basically any weapon stronger.

Size tome: extended attack range

This is a size tome which is also a strong tome. It increases the attack range and makes the farm faster in the middle and later stages of the game. I personally recommend this one due to the fact that it has strong weapons that are stronger in size, such as the Katana.

Which one is better to take?

Personally, I would recommend a size tome, but depending on the build, I think the cool time would be better. I feel that many distributors and others enjoy playing lucky with chaos storms.

Depending on the weapon of your choice, if you think you can make use of size, I would say size, otherwise cooldown.

Weaponry

Bow: Shoots penetrating arrows

This is Robinette’s initial weapon.
It is a weapon that increases critical and critical damage, so the higher you level it, the more powerful it becomes. It is not very strong in the beginning, so you need to choose a sub weapon that is easy to use in the beginning.

Bows get thicker and bigger in size and reload faster in cool time. This is a guess, but I feel that increasing the bullet speed will increase the distance of the bow.

Aura: Damage to surrounding enemies

This is the recommendation for acquiring a size tome.
This weapon has a lower final strength, but it is useful in group fights and enemy rushes in the early and middle stages of the game. Due to the configuration of the tome, it is difficult to raise the number of bullets, so it will play an active role.

Katana: It’s a sharp blade aimed at nearby enemies, man!

Like the bow, this weapon increases critical and critical damage.
This weapon is stronger with a size tome, but I think it will work just fine on cooldown.

Dice: Dice are thrown for 1-6 damage; a 6 permanently increases the weapon’s crit rate.

This weapon benefits from both size and cooldown.
This weapon also increases both critical and critical damage, which makes it stronger in the later stages of the game. The damage is also increased by the die-specific effects.

Thunderbolt wand: summons lightning to attack nearby enemies

Like the aura, it is not a very strong weapon, but it is useful in group fights in the early stages.
Both cooldown and size are effective, but I would say cooldown is more effective.

Axe: Throws a spinning axe for ranged damage

It is the strongest range weapon, the Axe. This one also benefits from a cooldown effect, although the size benefit is greater.

It is especially difficult to use at the beginning of the game, so you may need to combine it with a lightning staff or an aura. It may be possible to play a game of luck by using only the strongest weapons and starting over again and again.
